Welcome to Mangle & Wringer

Hello and welcome to Mangle & Wringer, the little Cotswold company that offers you an alternative to the harsh chemical cleaning products that line our supermarket shelves.

If you’ve ever worried that filling your home with a mixture of unpronounceable, synthetic ingredients could be more harmful to you, and your family, than the dirt and bacteria they’re designed to remove, then you’re in the right place. I believe there’s a better, healthier way to look after your home than the toxic chemical warfare the big manufacturers promote, so I’m delighted to share with you the 100% natural cleaning remedies I inherited from long time housekeeper Bette Smith.

You can read more about our story here.

I also have pleasure sharing Bette’s many years of housekeeping experience and her wisdom and tips to help you protect your household simply, safely and effectively.

Introducing our Keep it for Life campaign. New 500ml refills and concentrated refills in glass bottles to help keep plastic out of landfill and out of our oceans.

You can now buy our liquid cleaning products as a 500ml refill bottle with an aluminium screw cap. Simply swap your trigger spray onto the new bottle and recycle the aluminium cap and the empty PET bottle.

Alternatively, if you're unable to recycle the bottle, or would like to keep it as a bottle for life, we also offer 125ml concentrates in small glass bottles. Empty the contents of the concentrate into your 500ml bottle and top up with water. Buy one PET bottle and keep it for life.
